SIMP’s silicone film dressing is a gentle, transparent polyurethane film dressing with soft silicone adhesive. It’s a premium transparent dressing minimizing the risk of maceration, protecting wound bed during dressing changes and helping prevent pain and trauma during removal.

Silicone film dressing is designed for a wide range of superficial wounds.

Such as pressure ulcers category 1 and 2, superficial skin injuries and superficial burns. Silicone film dressing protects fragile and sensitive skin. Silicone film dressing can also be used as a protective cover for open surgical wound e.g abdomen, fixate primary dressing as a secondary dressing and be used in combination with gels and ointments. Fixation tapes and devices can be fixate on top of the silicone film dressing product, the silicone film dressing is than used as a protective Landing Zone for the fixation tape.
