SIMP’s Transparent Island Dressing consists of a non-adherent wound pad bonded to an acrylic adhesive coated polyurethane film on a film release liner with a ‘crack back’ cut. Used on low-to-moderately exudating wounds, acute wounds, IV catheter sites and as a secondary dressing.

SIMP’s Transparent Island Dressing consists of a non-adherent wound pad bonded to an acrylic adhesive coated polyurethane film on a film release liner with a ‘crack back’ cut. Used on low-to-moderately exudating wounds, acute wounds, IV catheter sites and as a secondary dressing. 



· Breathable film allows moisture vapor and oxygen exchange while providing a moist wound environment for enhanced healing.

· Protects the wound from foreign contamination yet allows the skin to breathe.

· ‘Crack Back’ cut design allows for easier removal of the polyurethane release liner.

· Hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive.

· Highly absorbent wound pad.

· Longer wear time when compare to non-woven dressings (up to 7 days)

· Various wound pad constructions and thicknesses available for different absorption levels.

· Also available without pad.
